Spiritual vision

You believe that what your physical eyes cannot see does not exist. This leads to a denial of spiritual sight.

frag. Principles of Miracles 22

To open the eyes of the blind is the Holy Spirit's mission, for He knows that they have not lost their vision, but merely sleep. He would awaken them from the sleep of forgetting to the remembering of God. Christ's eyes are open, and He will look upon whatever you see with love if you accept His vision as yours.

Mi free will, only one decision

Of all the aparent ways, paths, options or alternatives that show up to me in the world, all are reduced to only one decision -which I can choose every instant- and the result will testify my election.

Choose the Truth or the ilussions

Choose the Real or the unreal

Choose Love or fear

Choose Peace or war

Choose Resurection or crucifixion

Choose Joy or suffering

Choose Life or death

Choose Oneness or separation

Choose Holiness or sin

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference."

The Thought of God smooths my way

The Thought of God created you. It left you not, nor have you ever been apart from it an instant. It belongs to you. By it you live. It is your Source of life, holding you one with it, and everything is one with you because it left you not.

The Thought of God protects you, cares for you, makes soft your resting place and smooth your way, lighting your mind with happiness and love. Eternity and everlasting life shine in your mind, because the Thought of God has left you not, and still abides with you.

When I meet anyone

When you meet anyone, remember it is a hoy encounter.

As you see him you will see yourself.

As you treat him you will treat yourself.
As your think of him you will think of yourself.

Never forget this, for in him you will find yourself or lose yourself.

Whenever two Sons of God meet,
they are given another chance at salvation.

Do not leave anyone without giving salvation to him
and receiving it yourself.

For I am always there with you, in remembrance of you.

By the hand

"And turn you to the stately calm within, where in holy stillness dwells the living God you never left and Who never left you.

The Holy Spirit takes you gently by the hand, and retraces with you your mad journey outside yourself, leading you gently back to the truth and safety within."

God is With Me. I Live and Move In Him.

God is with me. He is my Source of life, the life within, the air I breathe, the food by which I am sustained, the water which renews and cleanses me. He is my home, wherein I live and move; the Spirit Which directs my actions, offers me Its Thoughts, and guarantees my safety from all pain. He covers me with kindness and with care, and holds in love the Son He shines upon, who also shines on Him. How still is he who knows the truth of what He speaks today!

Father, we have no other words except Your name upon our lips and in our minds, as we come quietly into Your Presence now, and ask to rest with You in peace a while.

Lesson 222
A Course in Miracles

Saturday, February 11, 2006

The Peace of God is Shining in Me Now

Sit quietly and close your eyes.
The light within you is sufficient.

It alone has power to give the gift of sight to you.

Exclude the outer world,
and let your thoughts fly
to the peace within.
They know the way.

We take our wandering thoughts,
and gently bring them back
to where they fall in line with
all the thoughts we share with God.
.
We let the light within our minds
direct them to come home.

We acknowledge
the peace of God
still shines in us, and from us
to all living things that share our live.

We will forgive them all,
albsolving the world from what
we thought it did to us.

Now we choose that it be innocent,
devoid of sin and open to salvation.

And we lay our saving blessing on it as we say:
.
The peace of God
is shining in me now.
Let all things shine upon me in that peace,
And let me bless them with the light in me.
